Orlando Becomes Destination for Both Millennials and Baby Boomers
The Encore Capital Management team currently has several big projects under development in Orlando. Arthur Falcone was asked, from a development standpoint, what do you foresee happening in Orlando in 2018?
Arthur Falcone: Orlando is the #1 tourist destination in the U.S. This year it saw 74 million visitors—both international and domestic. It’s also rated one of the top five cities in the country for millennials to move to—they love it. Additionally, Orlando has seen incredible job growth especially in the technology and healthcare sectors. It’s not just about the theme parks anymore. It’s also a popular destination for Baby Boomers to retire. They like the energy that Orlando offers with entertainment, restaurants and the fact that it’s centrally located. We are excited about all that’s to come for that city.
