Nitin Motwani Talks AI and Big Data at eMerge Americas Conference

Nitin Motwani was part of the recent eMerge Americas conference in Miami.  He sat on a panel with fellow developer Avra Jain to discuss big data and artificial intelligence and their new role in the real estate industry.

Motwani said big data and artificial intelligence can be used to augment amenities at luxury condo projects like Paramount Miami Worldcenter. For instance, using the technology to anticipate traffic patterns and congestion in downtown Miami would allow condo residents to adjust their schedules to make sure they can arrive at a particular destination on time.

“The problem is when you are on your way to a meeting and you are late because there is traffic,” Motwani said. “Those types of inconveniences can be solved through big data. For example, if my calendar tells me I need to be at eMerge at 9 a.m., it can tell me I need to leave and press the elevator button at 8:17. It orders my coffee and notifies the valet I am in the elevator. By the time I get down,I get my coffee, the valet has my car and I am on my way.”
