Daily Business Review: Suburbs are the New Office Magnet
A recent report by the Daily Business Review focused on the fact that the office market in South Florida has been increasingly navigating towards the suburbs. It said of new construction, 40 of 50 buildings are being built outside central business districts.
This includes Plantation Walk’s Class A office space which is opening this month. In an interview with the DBR, Art Falcone, the developer of Plantation said: “If you are living in a house, you don’t want to be sitting on the I-595 or the Sawgrass Expressway or the 826 or the 836 for an hour-and-a-half of travel time. That’s not the most productive use of time.”
Aetna has inked a big lease in the Plantation Walk office building and additional companies are signing on. To read the full Daily Business Review article, click HERE.
