Miami Worldcenter Announces First Restaurant Tenants
Miami Worldcenter, the 10 block, $4 billion development in Downtown Miami has announced the first of its new restaurant tenants. South Florida restaurateur Michael Beltran will debut two new restaurant concepts: Laurel and El Vecino. He is best known for his restaurant Ariete in MIami’s Coconut Grove.
Laurel is a blend of French and Cuban fare and will occupy 2,800 square feet of indoor and outdoor space on the ground floor of Caoba. El Vecino will be a cigar bar with full liquor bar and light Cuban cuisine. It will also be on the ground floor of the Caoba tower.
Chicago-based restaurateur and Michelin-starred chef Danny Grant will bring his existing concepts to Miami Worldcenter. Maple & Ash steakhouse, which features an extensive wine list, will occupy 15,000 square feet at the corner of the Seventh Street promenade and First Avenue. There is currently a Maple & Ash in Chicago and Scottsdale, Arizona. Grant will also bring Etta to Miami which focuses on wood-fired dishes.
